Sometimes I choose not to debate someone because we have so many areas of disagreement that it isn't worth the trouble to respond to everything you object to. I think that was what motivated Super Ms. C's response. There's nothing intellectually dishonest about that, although I can understand why you would find it insulting. It doesn't necessarily have to be taken that way, however. Some people want to talk to you, and some don't. That's just the way life is.

Nothing more satisfying than watching a virtuosa at insults dishing it out to someone who so obviously asked for it.

In a New York Post article Peterson said her picture was on the cover because of " the idiot philosophy that such preferences are learned". Of course these preferences are learned. To prove this, all you have to do is look at the images of the great beauties of the past, for example the paintings of Rembrandt and Rubens. Ms. Nu would have been a perfect model of beauty for the artists of that time. This idea that beautiful women must have bodies like twelve year old boys and tits like cantalopes is very new. The fact that Peterson keeps claiming that his prejudices are supported by history, and doesn't even know this historical fact, is one more example of his patheticness.

These arguments are basically sound but they don't prove that Atheism is true. They still leave open the possibility of Naturalistic Theism, which I describe in this paper. https://www.academia.edu/35251245/Naturalistic_Theism

I would also suggest that you remember that arguments from necessity (including my own in the paper linked above) should be viewed with some scepticism. Such arguments are true only on condition that certain background assumptions, often unstated, are also true. As Dennett says, It is very difficult, perhaps impossible, to tell the difference between a failure of imagination and an insight into necessity.

It's reasonable to assume that if he had evidence he would have presented it. He presented none. Even if wre ignore the fact that Trump's false public statement outnumber his true ones by a huge porportion, The fact that Trump's word is the only thing supporting his claim, and there are numerous other sources indicating that he is lying, is sufficient reason to assert that he is lying.

But we are talking nuances here. I think we understand each other's points, and should probably agree to disagree.
