Another way to support her argument is to show that Nigerians have significantly more resources available to them than do ADOS African-Americans. She does this here.
"During this time, the Nigerian government also provided scholarships for Nigerian students who wanted to study abroad in America. These scholarships covered the cost of education at state schools like the University of Nebraska or Ivy’s like Harvard and Yale. . . . Many Nigerian Americans got an all-expense-paid trip to an Ivy League University. These Nigerians knew that going to graduate school and becoming a doctor, lawyer or engineer was the best way for them to become American citizens.
After becoming citizens, they could sponsor relatives for citizenship, relatives who were able to enter the United States as legacies at top universities."
