As I understand it, he sort of did ask. Apparently somebody asked him in an interview who he would like to be played by on Saturday night live, and as a joke, he said “Brad Pitt“. When SNL heard this, they contacted Pitt, and he was delighted to do it, and I think Pitt did a very good job of it. I’m sure Fauci never expected that to actually happen.
