as your linked article says, he was primarily a philosopher of science who wrote one questionable book on political and social philosophy. I haven’t read The Open Society, except for snippets and paraphrases, but his concept of falsifiability is an essential part of any good philosophy of science class. Like all great philosophical ideas, there are a lot of things wrong with it, but it also gets an awful lot right.
