Do you have some statistics to back any of these claims up? It would be much easier to convince other people of this, if I could cite something. It looks like you do have some first-hand knowledge of statistics about publication. I'd like to see that, if you can point me in the right direction.

I seem to remember some cases studies that showed that black men are more likely to be promoted in most corporations than white women. And we did end up with a black male president before we had a white female president. But different surveys often prove different things, depending on where the samples came from. Every single one of your factual claims doesn't have to be correct for your overall point to be right. But it does make your case stronger, I think, if you don't overstate it.
