Accepting someone as a legitimate authority does not mean I'm uncritically accepting them. Critical thinking consists of listening to several different authorities and letting them "challenge" each other as this author says. There are certainly a lot of bloggers, most with little or no academic credentials, who think that anything said by a marginalized person should be unconditionally accepted. But this tweet doesn't say that. It just says that personal stories of POC should have their voices included for consideration when a decision is being made. I think this is particularly referring to things like the oral histories of life under slavery that were collected during the 30s, and radically contradict the view of slavery you will find in Daughters-of-the-Confederacy-approved textbooks
