Feel your pain. I've lost several friends that way. It's like living in the movie "the invasion of the body snatchers". They look like the people you've known and loved for years, but they seem possessed when they open their mouths.

And yet they are still human, still in many ways the people we have loved for years. We need to stay away from them if they drain our spirit, but we shouldn’t blame ourselves for not being able to cut them off completely. Someday they may come back to their senses, and we can be there for them if they do.
