Genghis Khan was not a Muslim. He practiced the indigenous religion of the Mongol people. And although he was a mass murderer and a rapist, he was extremely tolerant of other religions. Many of his descendants, however, converted to Islam and they did practice forced conversion.

Islam in Spain, and Morocco did tolerate Judaism. The crypto Jews arose because of the Christian Spanish Inquisition.
