Great article, but I don't like the title. The main points you are making are important, and well stated. But the problem is not going to be fixed by telling people to stop using a word. I think everything that can be accomplished by banning words has already been done. We need to come up with new ways of describing people from similar and different cultures. If these new descriptions are vivid and accurate enough, they will gradually supplant the older inaccurate ones, without any banning being necessary.
