Here's a fun anecdote about this movie. One of the dancers is Jacque D'ambois from the New York city Ballet. His dancing is fantastic as part of the ensemble, but he has only one spoken line. I later saw him outside the Theater of an NYC ballet performance, and asked him for an autograph. He said "sure"--in a very thick New York accent. Apparently that one line was dubbed by somebody else.
