I think it likely that women would still be at a disadvantage, because they would only be able to use the new strategies, and the man would be able to use both the old and new strategies. (Unless some of the strategies actually require lesser bulk. I've seen tiny little birds successfully harass bigger birds in flight because they were more manuverable.)

Here's one possibility: women could play men's sports, if they could qualify, but anyone who is anatomically male, whether Trans or Cis, could only play in men's sports. This is a good illustration of the difference between equality and equity
