I don’t doubt that this happens to you over and over again, and it is really depressing that’s so many other black commenters confirm that it happens to them also. But what in the world are these people thinking? It just makes no damn sense at all. Aren’t terrorists supposed to be Muslims, according to the current set of prejudices, and don’t Muslim women cover their hair completely? Shouldn’t the fact that your hair is uncovered be seen as partial evidence that you are probably not a terrorist? you would think that bigots would at least consistently follow the implications of their own twisted principles, but I guess even that is too much to expect.
