I don’t think so. I think what happened was it drove more people to the right who had started to drift left. Right after George Floyd’s death, even Mitt Romney and Rush Limbaugh were saying that police reform was necessary. then, after the Portland riots, and the cries of defund the police, people begin to see the entire movement as a socialist conspiracy, and this drove many people into the arms of Trump. I personally know several people who voted for HRC in 2016, and switched to Trump in 2020 because of this.

Other than that, I really like this post. I appreciate all these detailed statistics. This kind of attention to detail is the only thing that is going to enable us to find a solution.
