I probably should have said “less inhumane“. But I was trying to provide support to Mr. James’ claim that the slavery practiced by your Amazigh ancestors was not as bad as the American Slavery practiced by mine. But the fact that it arguably lacked a racial component didn’t absolve it completely. More on this here:
