I was watching a video of the post BLM rioters in Portland, almost all of whom were white. The police threaded their way through the white rioters until they came to the one black guy in the crowd. When they found him, they all circled around him and proceeded to beat him up, pretty much ignoring all the white guys. One reason I have no sympathy for the violent rioters of that time, or the people who defended those rioters by saying "black people have a right to express their anger." Most black people realized they couldn't safely be violent in a situation like that, which is why most of the rioters were white.
