If I have been in charge of that project, I would’ve told the artist to deliberately cast every single group AGAINST type. Put a petite blonde woman in the fierce category (maybe in a fencing pose with a saber), black students in lab coats and business suits, White students in basketball and football uniforms etc. It would’ve shaken up peoples presuppositions, caught their attention and been more effective both aesthetically and commercially.
