Interesting that you didn't mention the "Woke" hatred of costumes: the idea that every costume is somehow a culture, and therefore only special people with the right DNA and personal histories are allowed to wear them. If costumes are hated equally by extremists on both sides of the political spectrum, there must be something very special about them.
