Isaac Newton was by all accounts a terrible person. Cruel, greedy, paranoid, and never had any friends. He was also probably racist, sexist, and never asked people what pronouns they preferred. How do we know this? Because he was an 18th century White Guy and that was what 99% of people like him thought back then. If he wasn't those things, it would have stood out, and somebody would have made note of it.
He also invented calculus. Should we now stop using calculus? If so, all of our science and technology would grind to a halt. Of course not. Because we separate the creator from the created. If we can do it in the sciences, we can do it in the arts.
