This paper was the only one I have written for an academic audience on this topic. It was accepted for the most recent meeting of the American philosophical Association and was attended by about 35 people, which is near rockstar status for a philosophy paper. (Actual philosophical Rockstars, like David Chalmers or Jerry Fodor usually get around 100 people) so although my readership for this paper was small even by my standards, it seemed to have a real impact on actual philosophers that was bigger than I expected . I think it is the best thing I have written on this topic, and I’m glad you took the trouble to read it.
