It’s different because I specifically said that I could not generalize from the Black people I know to Black people in general. That’s the exact opposite of the “I have a black friend” trope.

This is not a rhetorical question. I really want to know. Is it true that from your experience, poor Black people are significantly worse in some way than poor white people? If so, how?
