Racism in each of these countries all springs from a common root. They are all territories that were colonized by Europeans, who committed genocide on the original non-white inhabitants, then imported other non-white people to be slaves.

It is commonly believed that this is the only and/or worst cause of racism, but this is not true. India has its own native brand of white racism in the caste system, and the Chinese and Japanese both have a history of conquest and domination of the Tibetans, Yuigurs, Koreans, Okinawans etc. So yes, you are right, Racism is a world wide pandemic.
