Thanks for letting me know about this document. It’s pretty awful, but I have two reservations about the obvious reactions to it.
1) Fox is not a reliable news source. They repeatedly leave out important facts and sometimes make things up out of whole cloth. This could have been a document printed up by a student and handed out in a couple of classes, or something distributed by a single teacher who has since been disciplined, or it could never have existed at all. Admittedly there is an important difference between commentators like Hannity and the News channel itself. That’s one reason several of Fox News best reporters recently resigned in protest. But the whole organization is too badly tainted to be taken seriously. It wouldn’t surprise me if this document was an official pronouncement of the NY school system. I have seen ideas like this floating around Medium and Twitter a lot. But I’d need proof from another source to take the claim seriously.
2) The real problem with this document is its vagueness. It could be interpreted the way you interpreted, and maybe the authors intended it that way. But it also could be interpreted in ways that are a lot more benign than this. For example, your connection between renouncing White Supremacy and naming Reagan Airport exists nowhere but in your own mind. As slippery slope arguments go, this is an Olympic ski run.
People on the far left often express their ideas in ways that are deliberately inflammatory, then qualify down the idea to something reasonable in the fine print. (Abolish the Police, for example). More on this here:
This is a dumb strategy, but it doesn’t mean these people are the totalitarians you think they are.
