That's a reasonable request, reasonably put. Halloween is supposed to be scary, but it's also supposed to be fun. No decent person would want to evoke that terrible period of American history for those who would be traumatized by it. I've seen those photos, and I still can't unsee them. There are plenty of other "scary" decorations that won't cause that sort of emotional damage. Thanks for letting us know.
