The best solution to this dilemma is to abolish Gendered sports altogether. Let's figure out what the factors are which make women less competitive than men in certain sports, and use those factors to decide who competes with whom. That would enable Griner to compete against men, if she wished, and still give a fair chance to women without her physical advantages. I talk more about this here.
