The Debate over CRT is to some degree a battle between strawmen. One group attacks CRT by attributing to it qualities it does not possess, and another group replies by defending this strawman. This whole debate would evaporate if both sides used footnotes. Then both groups would discover that the CRT they are defending or attacking bears no relationship to the real thing.
