The Problem is not with the use of the word Roma, but the banning of the word gypsy, and the insistence that all gypsy tribes call themselves Roma. This "proclamation" was made by a few wokerati, not accepted by the majority of Gypsies, and certainly not by the Sinti who are Gypsies but not Roma.
