There is a difference between 1) people who are trans phobic because accepting Trans people violates the Bible and traditional American Values 2) People who are Transphobic because they think that Transpeople violate the principles of feminism. (because they think Transwomen are men “culturally appropriating” feminism, that they are using their male privilege to invade feminine spaces etc.) It’s important to have two different words for these two very different kinds of people. They will give different arguments for their positions and will have very different attitudes about almost everything. One of the most toxic ways of blinding yourself is to believe that all people who disagree with you are the same.
