there seems to be an assumption here that just because some social interaction is morally sub optimal, it must therefore be rape. misrepresenting yourself is a sleazy thing to do, and people shouldn’t do it. But that doesn’t mean it’s rape. Murder, theft, and illegal parking are all illegal, but we have different punishments for each.
