this is a philosophical question, not a scientific one, which is why although science can help each person decide their answer, it can’t establish universal consensus. I know that’s not immediately obvious, but I will write an article soon giving my reasons for believing that. Even those reasons are not decisive, because the question “what is a philosophical question?” Is itself a philosophical question.
