Yes both sides have crazy people saying crazy things, but the important difference is 1) crazy people on the right are in positions of political and economic power and 2) the crazy people on the left post hysterical things on Facebook and Twitter. no equivalency there.

you haven’t stopped being a clueless conformist. You’ve just flipped from one form of clueless conformism to the other, and the new group of conformists you have joined will now applaud you for being “brave“. If you actually do start thinking for yourself, you will begin to start looking at the partial truths on both sides, and start talking about actual individuals rather than “the left” or “the right”. when there are people on both sides who are equally mad at you, that will be a sign that you’ve actually started thinking for yourself.
