this is my top concern as well. People make copies of currently existing accounts, and say something generic like “I appreciate your response“. Then they give you a WhatsApp number to call. These copies of existing accounts, however, have only one or two followers, even though, the original accounts have thousands of followers. I’ve had that happen several times with some of my favorite writers. in many cases, these copy cat accounts, make exactly the same response to every single comment on the article.
