This is not so clear when we consider that "according to the report cited above, equally large numbers of people in all groups are strongly opposed to racism and hate speech." I think that this shows that people feel that this is a project that needs to be done, but that they also feel it is being done badly. I get the impression from your writings that you would rather sweep the whole wokeness project under the rug. I feel that the project cannot be avoided, but that at the moment it is often done very badly. I think these two apparently conflicting responses show that most people feel the same way. Most of my writing on Medium is trying to find the baby floating desperately in all this bathwater, and this paper is kind of the keystone on which all my other writings on this topic rest.
I notice that you live near San Francisco. I have a paper on this topic which was accepted for the most recent meeting of the American Philosophical Society. It's called "the Privileged Access of the Underprivileged" and I'll be presenting it on April 7th at 10 a.m. at the Westin Saint Francis on Union Square in San Francisco.
