What I really like about all of your articles, Rebecca, is their concreteness and specificity. A lot of people who write about racism on medium make sweeping generalizations which are usually not strictly true, precisely because they are so vague. This usually triggers the "SOME white men" response in the comments, which triggers more accusations of racism, and so on.

When you make generalizations they are always based on your concrete experience, and described and explained in a way that makes it easy even for the most privileged of us to see the racism. You're performing an invaluable service. Thanks so much.
