What I’m actually doing to help BLM
It isn’t much, but anything that creates real change will always look tiny in comparison to what remains to be done.
The Black Lives Matter protests have been over for a while, and a lot of people have been saying they accomplished nothing. Others have been asking “what can I do to bring about the real change those protests were crying for? Here’s my answer to that question. It isn’t much, but anything that creates real change will always look tiny in comparison to what remains to be done.
Here in Contra Costa County, we have an election coming up which includes races for both District Attorney and Sheriff. These are the facts as I understand them, about the four candidates for those two offices. I did a lot of research to come to these conclusions, and then found most of my conclusions expressed in these recent East Bay Times editorials. Here are some quotes for those of you who don’t subscribe, mixed with some facts I discovered on my own.
